BRUTHER
Stéphanie Bru and Alexandre Theriot founded BRUTHER in 2007 in Paris. BRUTHER's projects take the design back to its essentials, exploring the fields or architecture, urbanism, landscape, research, and teaching. They apply a design of resistance, free from any mark of mannerism, style, fashion, or excess.

Le Soleil Rouge by BRUTHER
BRUTHER was commissioned to design a new stage on the spot where Marinella Senatore's Bodies In Alliance shined for the last two years.
Le Soleil Rouge is a performance device that alters space and light. Aligned towards the sunset and the two imposing cooling towers, this new established scenario - or environment - catalyses a new social interaction sculpted by nature, music and the dancers. Individuals become part of a collective orbiting the Le Soleil Rouge. The extreme simplicity of the wooden structure - referencing a billboard - magnifies in contrast with the odd splendour of the mirrored disc, measuring 10m in diameter.
To be discovered during the Horst Arts & Music Festival weekend.
