Horst '15: Kaspar Hamacher

Black Tree Das “unlebbar” gewordene Leben. Fittingly called ‘Ausgebrannt’ Kaspar Hamacher cuts tree trunks into segments, uses fire to remove the bark from the exterior and oil to change the sculptures into silhouettes.

At Horst 2015 he created a twelve meter long wooden silhouettes placed on the banks of the moat, floating on its own branches.
